Hog Roast Langley – 18th Birthday Celebrations

Turning 18 is a pretty big deal in any young persons life. For some, it might just seem like another mini-milestone, but for many adolescents, this is something they have been eagerly awaiting for years – and it’s hardly a surprise as to why! It signifies the beginning of adulthood and comes with a tonne of new perks. As such, this is one birthday that should be celebrated accordingly, but with COVID-19 still raging on in the background of our everyday lives, you might have thought a party was out of the question. Well, think again!

Hog Roast Langley At Hog Roast Langley our state of the art catering equipment allows us to cook anywhere, meaning we can bring the celebrations right to your doorstep. What’s more, with our team taking every precaution necessary, you can rest assured that both you and your event will always be in safe hands.

Most recently, we received a booking from Keith, who was looking for a menu that would help make his daughter’s 18th even more special and he couldn’t have come to a better place! With a small handful of guests taking the party to 25 heads, Keith wasn’t in need of one of our traditional hog roasts. So instead, Chris, Hog Roast Lanley’s catering manager suggested joints of pork with all the traditional trimmings you would expect, as well as a vegan and vegetarian option for the non-meat-eating guests who had confirmed their attendance. Keith was so grateful for how accommodating Hog Roast Langley had been, and he couldn’t wait for the big day to arrive!

Our catering crew knew immediately when they had reached their destination, even without the SATNAV making its usual announcement. In preparation for the party, Keith had decorated the wrought iron fence with hot pink balloons, which told our team they were in the right place.

While everyone was inside getting ready for the guests to arrive, Hog Roast Langley erected the gazebo and worked tirelessly to slow roast the pork joints which were served alongside stuffing, applesauce, crackling and gluten-free rolls and wraps.

The food was a huge hit, and with plenty left over by the time the team made their exit, they made sure to present all that was left on platters for the guests to pick at through the rest of the evening.
