Who does not like a bit of Mexican food? Mexican food is guaranteed to be flavourful with a lovely tang of spice. Hog Roast Teston was asked to cook and create a brilliant burrito for a local logistics company this week. Even though Hog Roast Teston are Hog Roast specialists and their menus tend to work around a whole roasted pig as the main event, they also do delicious and blissful bespoke menu’s.
Debbie who was organising the treat wanted something tasty yet easy to eat so that the drivers for example could continue their deliveries whilst enjoying it. Hog Roast Teston and Debbie agreed on flavour-filled burritos. Burritos are a super delightful party in the mouth, filled with flavour and a kick of spice.
The company has 500 staff including the delivery drivers and extras they have on hand for the run up to Christmas. To ensure that everyone received their treat, Hog Roast Teston was at the company over a two-day period and at different times to coordinate with the shift patterns.
Hog Roast Teston did a sweet tomato-based sauce with some fiery chillies, nutritious beans and sliced red onions. Mild grated cheddar and fluffy rice was added to the captivating medley before it was all rolled up in a grilled tortilla wrap. Lettuce, guacamole and sauces were a personal extra of the staff’s choice.
The vegetarians and vegans enjoyed a three-bean chilli burrito filling. Tangy, sweet and incredibly tasty.
Hog Roast Teston served the delightful treats on Tuesday morning from 6am until 1pm and again on the Thursday but rather serving from midday until 6pm. Due to how many vans there were leaving at the same time, Hog Roast Teston’s team found it easier to serve from the van yard’s gate so that as a driver went by they collected the burrito straight through the van window. This guaranteed that no drivers were missed out and they remained on time for deliveries.
Debbie received positive feedback from drivers and inside staff alike. Hog Roast Teston looks forward to catering for them again in the near future.
