Earlier this December, Hog Roast Coxheath were hired to provide catering for a 60th birthday party taking place at Langley Park Golf Studio. The party consisted of 26 guests, with each wanting to enjoy a festive menu followed by a delicious traditional dessert. Our catering manager Chris knew exactly which menu was right for the party and got to work preparing the package.
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Coxheath arrived in advance of the 20:00 mealtime, with plenty of time to prepare the dishes. We began by cooking the turkeys, which were the star of this tasty menu. The turkey was roasted over open flames, ensuring that each slice of meat was succulent and juicy. For vegetarian guests, we prepared grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers. The main dishes were served with a selection of seasonal sides, including cauliflower cheese, seasonal vegetables, roasted potatoes, pigs in blankets, and gravy.
Once the main course had been enjoyed, the guests were served mince pies with warm brandy cream, which was a wonderful traditional dessert. Our catering was served on bamboo crockery and cutlery, creating the ideal level of formality for the occasion. The menu went down a treat with the guests and was an ideal accompaniment to a great milestone birthday!
