Earlier in November, Hog Roast Lenham was contacted by Daniel to arrange catering for his son’s birthday party. The event was set to take place at Durlock End, with 60 guests in attendance to celebrate the special day. Daniel was in charge of organising the date and had everything under control, including the catering thanks to Hog Roast Lenham! After looking through our menus, our catering manager Chris was hired to provide a classic hog roast menu with a tasty meat-free option.
On the day of the event, Chris and the Hog Roast Lenham team arrived at the venue and began to prepare the catering. The menu was being served at 17:00, so we arrived in the morning to ensure that there was plenty of time to roast the hog. Once the meat was ready, it was expertly carved by our chef and served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. For meat-free guests, we also served BBQ pulled jackfruit, which is a great alternative to pork. Alongside the rolls, the guests also enjoyed homemade chips and a selection of salad dishes. Our menu was served buffet style, allowing all of the guests to create a delicious meal from the dishes we had to offer. Of course, we made sure that the birthday boy for the first pick! It was great to be a part of this event and the Hog Roast Lenham had lots of fun catering for the party.
