Each summer, Holly and her extended family meet up for a weekend away somewhere in the UK. The family are spread across the country, with people as far as London and Wales. This summer, the 25 family members are staying in beautiful log cabins in the middle of the countryside, complete with a play area for children and a private hot tub. For their final night of the holiday, Hog Roast Biddenden has been hired to provide a delicious menu for the family, to ensure that everyone gets a well-deserved break. For the catering, it has been decided that our Gourmet BBQ menu will be ideal, since it includes a wide variety of dishes and is sure to have plenty to go around. Our catering manager Chris was forward to catering for this event and providing a delicious meal for the family.
On the day of the catering, the Hog Roast Biddenden team arrived at the cabins and set up our station under a gazebo. We began our prep by barbequing the main dishes, which included succulent pork sausages, juicy British beef burgers, halloumi and vegetable skewers, marinated chicken kebabs, and BBQ spareribs. These dishes were served in fresh bread rolls or a gluten-free alterantive. For the selection of sides, the guests enjoyed homemade chips, sweet potato fries, corn cobettes, a green leaf salad, and gourmet coleslaw. Overall our menu was a big success and was the perfect meal for the family to enjoy together!
