The hotel sees its busiest time each year in the lead-up to Christmas, with guests wanting a break during the festive period, or receiving a hotel spa as a Christmas gift. To accommodate the extra guests, Cathy hires a team of seasonal staff each year to help out. To make the hiring process as smooth as possible, she hosts a recruitment day, which allows her to do the entire hiring process in one day. On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Tovil  team arrived at the venue in the morning and began by slow-roasting the hog to perfection. Once ready, the succulent pork was expertly carved by our chef and served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Additionally, we served BBQ-pulled jackfruit for meat-free guests. The mains were accompanied by homemade chips, gourmet coleslaw, corn cobettes, and a fresh salad option, which created a varied and delicious afternoon meal. Our menu was a great addition to the event and was ideal for giving everyone a well-deserved lunch break!
