The current warm weather has meant that the intimate garden celebrations have been extremely successful with a great atmosphere. Even better when you have Hog Roast Camber there to help you celebrate with delicious food that you don’t have to worry about! Rachel had wanted a small, cosy wedding celebration in her back garden. A day special to her in her favourite place – home! To help make it memorable, Rachel had chosen Hog Roast Camber to cater her laid back wedding breakfast and was extremely happy with the food and service she received on the day.
The beautiful bride had selected Hog Roast Camber’s Southern Slow Roast, a flavour-filled menu fit for a wonderful couple on their wedding day! The newlyweds and guests indulged in a fantastic spread of three divine meats all marinated and slowly roasted on low for 12 hours, three freshly prepared salad and comfort-eating favourite, Mac, and cheese. On this menu, the option is there to enjoy a good portion of one meat or have a taster of all three! The decision was difficult for guests Saturday with them all going for a taster of the three. They enjoyed tender bourbon BBQ pulled pork, flavourful and soft Texan-BBQ pulled beef and fresh and juicy minted lamb.
The Mac and cheese is always a guest favourite as it’s just a classic that warms the soul. The salads equally went down well with everyone, especially the Greek salad with its sweet cherry tomatoes straight off the vine, hydrating cucumber, red onion slices, mixed pitted olives and crumbled and squared creamy feta cheese.
The bride’s niece had created and made the most wonderful wedding cake according to Catering manager Chris. The base layer was salted caramel flavoured sponge, the top layer a zesty lemon flavoured sponge and surrounding it were lots of brownies with bailey’s cream and millionaire shortbread slices. To say thank you to Chris and the team, the bride and groom offered them a taste of each aspect of their amazing cake. Chris claims to have loved the cake and wish he could experience it again! Perhaps first wedding anniversary hog roast with the wedding cake recreation?!
