The UK has been basking in some glorious weather lately, and it’s been a joy for us at Hog Roast East Farleigh to witness so many people embracing the sunshine! From cosy backyard BBQs with loved ones to enchanting open-air weddings and everything in between, al fresco dining is making a huge comeback. And with this resurgence comes a rise in demand for our signature hog roasts – a demand we’ve been thrilled to meet!
Last weekend presented us with a particularly exciting opportunity: catering for an outdoor cinema showing of the beloved 80s classic, Dirty Dancing! It was an event that had us buzzing with anticipation from the moment the client got in touch, and we were determined to make it a brilliant experience for all attendees.
Our catering crew worked tirelessly to prepare the perfect spit roast for the occasion. Slow-cooked to perfection all day long, the pig emerged from the HogMaster with a glistening golden hue, filling the air with irresistible aromas that had mouths watering from the first whiff.
As guests arrived, they were greeted by the sight of our head chef expertly carving up the succulent pig, separating scratchings from tender pulled pork with effortless precision. The queue formed eagerly, each guest keen to receive a bamboo plate piled high with tender pulled pork, crackling, stuffing and applesauce with side salads and freshly made fries. But meat lovers weren’t the only ones left swooning over our grub! Hog Roast East Farleigh won the hearts of veggie and vegan guests with our BBQ-pulled jackfruit buns. Exuding rich hickory flavours, guests couldn’t get enough!
As the opening credits of Dirty Dancing rolled, guests settled into their seats, eagerly tucking into their plates of hog roast goodness. Laughter and chatter filled the air as they savoured every bite, their enjoyment of the film enhanced by the delectable flavours of our cuisine. Midway through the movie, guests were treated to an intermission – a second opportunity to indulge in Hog Roast East Farleigh’s delectable dishes or top up on popcorn and refreshments from our fellow vendors. Needless to say, our hog roast stole the show once again, elevating the entire event to new heights of culinary delight!
