This past weekend, Kate celebrated her 40th birthday surrounded by close friends and family, right in the comfort of her own garden. It was an intimate gathering that was made all the more special by the incredible food provided by Hog Roast Otham.
Kate had thoughtfully planned for every detail, ensuring the day went off without a hitch. Knowing the unpredictability of British weather, she had a full-sized marquee set up in the garden, providing a sheltered space where her guests could relax and mingle. And when it came to food, Kate made a brilliant choice by inviting us to provide our signature hog roast – and needless to say, that it went down a storm with her guests.
The Hog Roast Otham team arrived early to get our state-of-the-art machinery set up and ready to get the food preparation underway. Our team of chefs brought along all of the fresh ingredients needed to create the customised menu that Kate had decided on – a delicious hog roast buffet complete with our creamy mac and cheese and selection of roasted vegetables. Guests were mesmerised by the huge pig turning slowly on the spit and were taken aback from the mouth-watering aromas that filled the air.
Once the hog was ready, it was clear from the first bite that it was a hit. Tender, flavourful, and with perfectly crispy crackling, it was everything Kate had hoped for. Plates quickly filled up – and there was even plenty left for seconds, which was a bonus!
