Meet Hog Roast Maidstone’s Catering Manager Chris

Chris is the rather charming and energetic Hog Roast Maidstone’s catering manager. Chris is a very passionate chef with excellent attention to detail and great communication skills. Chris has a wide range of experience within the hospitality and catering industry over the past decade so you can be reassured that your event will run smoothly.

Chris’s favourite event with Hog Roast Maidstone so far has been at the head office of Hotel Chocolate. Everyone was thrilled and grateful to have such an enjoyable and delicious spread for their lunch. Chris also liked learning the history of the company and how it all worked. Unfortunately, he didn’t get to taste any of the chocolate, much to his dismay! Maybe next time Chris! An event he’s looking forward in the summer is a Caribbean themed party, he’s particularly looking forward to hearing the Jamaican drum band! Chris certainly has some exciting events!

One memorable and funny experience Chris had recently was at a 21st birthday party. Two of the guests asked for the pig’s head so that they could torment the birthday boy with it. They thought it would make a great birthday hat for him. A few years ago, Chris had a similar experience at a stag do where the groom-to-be was dared to drink a beer through the pig’s head – yuck!

If Chris was a customer, he would choose the hog roast. There is nothing better than a slowly roasted pig with meat that just falls apart, accompanied by tasty stuffing and crunchy crackling in a nice soft roll with a dash of apple sauce. Chris would then add on sausages, he loves making sausages and gets highly complimented on the taste. To add some colour to the menu, Chris would also add on some freshly prepared salads particularly Italian sweet cherry tomato and buffalo mozzarella with basil leaves, homemade creamy coleslaw, and seasonal leaves mixed salad. Not forgetting Chris’s favourite side of chips!
