Here at Hog Roast Maidstone, we love getting to know our guests. It is very special that we get to share a snippet of your experiences on the days of your milestones and celebrations and we want that time to be personal – we don’t want to feel like strangers intruding on your big days. Our staff are always friendly and chatty, you can count on us for great banter and good laughs as well as well exceptional food.
On the 1st of this month, we catered for some repeat customers as we have come to know quite well over time. Every year, once in the summer and once in winter, we cater for MidKent College Maidstone Campus. It was great to see some familiar faces and catch up with the staff members. When it comes to long term clients, you are more like friends rather than servers. Its as if you are catching up with an old pal over a nice meal.
The event itself was pretty huge, with around 450 guests. The menu had cover everything – from flavour preferences, allergies and dietary requirements, ever box had to be ticked to make sure each guest had an equally as delicious meal. Luckily Hog Roast Maidstone will always accommodate for anyone’s diet.
Onto the contents, the campus opted for our Southern Slow Roast Menu with includes a Texan style melt in your mouth 24-hour beef brisket. Countless Cajun spiced whole roasts chickens and fall off the bone Louisiana sticky Pork Ribs. All served with a selection of bread rolls – rather airy white or brown buns or soft tortilla wraps. As for the vegetarian guests, we served up some homemade options, colourful grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers (without halloumi for the vegan guests) served with wraps and herby tzatziki dip and punchy sweet chili sauce. Each meal was accompanied with a choice of salads: Greek salad, tangy gourmet coleslaw and/or a mixture of sweet potato and traditional fries.
Hog Roast Maidstone loved catering and this event, and we can’t wait to be back their to see all you guests lovely faces again in the Winter!
