When the UK is actually being blessed with some good weather, the crew at Hog Roast Halling get a strong and smoky calling. A calling out for a barbeque of course! Because nothing smells more like summer then cooking burger patties and chicken kebabs on the grill – and here at Hog Roast Halling, we know how to grill.
Whether it’s a birthday party, anniversary do or just a fun Summer celebration, our barbeques are fitted for every occasion. Just recently, we were gifted the opportunity to cater for a Summer party and St Andrews Lakes. The perfect sunny party destination, surrounded by peaceful lakes, greenery by the ton and a clear sunset – what more could want for a backdrop to our Hog Roast Halling barbeque canopies?
The guests opted for our Gourmet BBQ Menu which involves grilling thick beef burgers with roasted onions and melty American cheese slices, sizzling juicy pork sausages, turning Thai flavoured chicken kebabs to perfect that slightly charred flavour on each side and cooking pork ribs over coals until the meat is tender enough to fall off the bone.
We couldn’t let the vegetarian guests miss out on their own BBQ treat so we made colourful grilled halloumi skewers that were bursting with fresh and cheesy flavours, and herby veggie burgers served light and airy bread rolls.
On top of all that, we brought some show-stopping sides including a seasonal green leaf salad, a Greek feta salad and of course, no good meal is complete without fries, we served a mixture of sweet potato ad traditional chips, double fried in hot oil for extra crisp.
The food went down a treat, with a garden full of empty plates and big smiles, it is safe to say that the day was a success.
