After a recommendation from my sister, we used the Spitting Pig for our family party of 60 or so people. As we live abroad, we counted on them to take the weight of food planning and service off our hands. What can we say? Communication with the team and catering manager was brilliant, food menu choices left us in a terrible dilemma as they were so extensive it made deciding a very tough task. We went with the "Southern Slow", and, wow, it was spectacular. We had a mixed party of young people, middle-aged and older, and everyone - I mean EVERYONE - said it was just delicious. The team there on the day basically needed nothing more than us to tell them where we'd like them to set up. and then were completely autonomous from that moment on. They were super-efficient and friendly. At one point when I asked a question, I was told "Don't worry, this is what we do". So I didn't 🙂 Timing was spot on, cleanup impeccable, and no-one left hungry. One last word is my 20 year old son who lives in France - and really misses his English sausages - had a fight with his uncle over the last of the fabulous sausages. My son won 🙂 Thank you so much for helping make our day truly memorable. I would recommend you without hesitation.

From beginning to end the Spitting Pig Co have been fantastic. My booking was made pre-covid, when my original Hog Roast supplier ceased trading and I was looking for someone to run an important event for me. I found the Spitting Pig Co and their communication was excellent.
I made a booking which was subsequently cancelled due to COVID. I easily rescheduled and yet again, due to COVID this was cancelled to.
Two years later, I contacted to reschedule and my original booking was honoured. The communication was excellent and the two members of the team were timely, polite and hassle free. There was nothing for me to do except enjoy my function.

Booked you guys for my parents wedding anniversary and they were so happy! As a vegetarian booking a Hog Roast i found it a bit funny but i was just as pleased with my food as everyone was with the meat options! My BBQ Jackfruit was the tastiest thing i've ever had and everyone else was pinching mine for the sauce!

The staff were amazing, we had issues getting them up our track due to the recent wet weather. It didn't phase them one bit! They carried all the stuff to our field which meant they got set up later than planned but still managed to get the food out on time.
The food was absolutely delicious, every single person I spoke to didn't have a bad word to say about it. I was also surprised to see that the staff collected plates and cutlery after we'd finished too so that was a lovely bonus!

Mostly down to the food, honestly wow I couldn’t fault it. Was honestly Amazing, every single guest commented on how nice it was. Everyone went back up for seconds! The coleslaw was unreal.

Just wanted to say how impressed we were with everything on Saturday 21st May. From start to finish it was so lovely, the 2 people (can't remember names) setting up were amazing and to be honest we didn't really know they were there.

My Wife and I hired your services last week and we couldn’t be happier with the service we received. We chose to have the Southern Slow Roast Menu to cater for a party of 50 people, Family and friends alike and every single one of them loved the variety available on that menu.

Just to say that we were very very happy with the service that was supplied at our house warming party on sat 2nd Oct.
The weather was absolutely terrible, basically it hammered with rain all day and so despite all of this, Steve and Millie managed to struggle through all of this by erecting the gazebo outside the front door on the drive rather than round the back in the very wet garden!
All went very smoothly despite the storms, and the food was wonderful. It was hot, tasty and very much to everyone’s liking.
Despite 14 people letting us down at the last minute, there was so much food and all the guests said afterwards how delicious and tasty it was.

Unfortunately, we didn’t have the weather gods on our side and the poor guys that came to do our event got absolutely soaked, almost blown away and were probably pretty cold too! And yet, they had a smile on their faces the whole time!

The event was a great success. Your Team arrived on time, and after a quick introduction set up their marquee to get on with business.
They served up on time, despite our requesting an hour’s delay.
The hog was absolutely gorgeous (and we’ve got a couple of packs left over - yummy!).
Everyone, including those who had “veggie” meals, were complimentary: no moans received whatsoever.

Just to say a huge thank you for providing the wonderful food at our recent garden party. Perfectly cooked and delicious to taste – absolutely spot on for the occasion. The staff were extremely pleasant, helpful and nothing was too much bother – even on a Sunday. You covered the whole event perfectly, from setting up to clearing up!

I just wanted to let you know how pleased we were with the hog roast we had on Saturday at my daughter’s wedding, Chris and the guys were brilliant and really helpful as has been your whole company during this time. As we had to move our original date due to lockdown and then reduce our numbers.
Everyone thought the food was great and we still managed to eat nearly a whole pig.
