Anna is turning 18 this September and has planned a great party to celebrate the occasion. The event is set to take place at a local function room, with a DJ to provide music and entertainment for the night. For the catering, Hog Roast Yalding has been hired to serve a classic hog roast for the occasion, alongside a delicious meat-free option. The menu needs to be suitable for 90 guests to enjoy, including young children and several vegetarians. We worked with Anna to personalise the ideal menu for the occasion to ensure that there is something for everyone to enjoy.
On the day of the party, the Hog Roast Yalding team arrived at the function room in the afternoon. The menu was set to be served at 8:00pm so we allowed ourselves plenty of time to slow-roast the hog to perfection. Once the pork was ready, it was expertly carved by our chef and served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Additionally, we served succulent pork sausages and veggie sausages to ensure that there was a main dish for everyone to enjoy. For the sides, we served homemade chips, sweet potato fries, gourmet coleslaw, and a selection of seasonal salad options. Overall, our menu was a great addition to the event and had plenty for every guest to enjoy. The party was a success and it was great to see Anna getting such a wonderful celebration!
