One of the best parts of our job at Hog Roast Upchurch is the opportunity to meet people, and bond with people over the shared love of great food on a memorable occasion. So when we get the pleasure of wedding catering and the chance to be apart of your love stories, it makes it extra special.
And let’s be honest, wedding planning can be difficult, managing venues, guest lists, invitations, the theme, the outfits and most importantly (well, to us anyway) the food. Here at Hog Roast Upchurch, we can take some of that weight off your shoulders. We handle set up wherever you want us, every aspect of food and catering including any dietary requirements and preferences – our catering managers will walk you through our menus and make sure you are getting everything you want for your day and not to mention we also manage the clean up! Taking care of all food mess that young ones and oldies might make.
In a recent mid-May wedding, beautiful bride Mia and her husband opted for our ‘Wedding Menu 5’ which had everything from deliciously tender pulled pork and sausages to crispy potatoes, crunchy spring rolls and smoky grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers. Every meal was served on fine China Crockery, with a smile from our cheery, hard-working team, and the sun certainly brought out laughter with guests, servers and the happy couple alike.
The breathtaking ceremony took place at The Oak Grove, a stunning partnered venue of Hog Roast Upchurch – it is a secluded woodland locale with fantastic natural scenery and precisely place colourful floral arrangements amongst the huge, draped canopy that really makes the greenery pop! Alongside many aesthetic photo opportunities, there really is a warm and romantic atmosphere to The Oak Grove, a truly beautiful place that ticks all the boxes.
After Serving 96 day guests and 116 evening guests from 4 o’clock, we packed up and waved goodbye to the Bride and Groom, and their friends and family. It was a long but incredible day, and we wish all the best to the newlyweds!
