After a recommendation from my sister, we used the Spitting Pig for our family party of 60 or so people. As we live abroad, we counted on them to take the weight of food planning and service off our hands. What can we say? Communication with the team and catering manager was brilliant, food menu choices left us in a terrible dilemma as they were so extensive it made deciding a very tough task. We went with the “Southern Slow”, and, wow, it was spectacular. We had a mixed party of young people, middle-aged and older, and everyone – I mean EVERYONE – said it was just delicious. The team there on the day basically needed nothing more than us to tell them where we’d like them to set up. and then were completely autonomous from that moment on. They were super-efficient and friendly. At one point when I asked a question, I was told “Don’t worry, this is what we do”. So I didn’t 🙂 Timing was spot on, cleanup impeccable, and no-one left hungry. One last word is my 20 year old son who lives in France – and really misses his English sausages – had a fight with his uncle over the last of the fabulous sausages. My son won 🙂 Thank you so much for helping make our day truly memorable. I would recommend you without hesitation.
