We may not be massive American football fans generally here at Hog Roast Camber, but if there is one national pastime that we can get around, it is the snacking experience around gameday that the Americans have for the Superbowl. Half sporting entertainment, half experiential entertainment, the Superbowl is as much about the game as it is everything else around it. From all kinds of celebrity cameos, presidential visits, fun adverts and film trailers, to the much talked about halftime show (this year with recent Grammy winner Kendrick Lamar), the Superbowl is sheer entertainment each and every year.
Our favourite part, of course, is the culture of snacking that envelopes the Superbowl experience. We don’t have anything close to it here in the UK; even the World Cup or a Euros final doesn’t come with the same focus on snacks and foods as the Superbowl does, which is why it is a particular favourite of ours here at Hog Roast Camber. The only issue? The game goes on well past bed time for most of us here!
But for some of our American Hog Roast Camber customers here in the UK, that’s a stumbling block easily leapt over for one night only. When you have the ultimate celebration of American sports on your TV, you do all you can to take in the Big Game the right way!

While we are a traditional roast caterer, our American-inspired Southern Slow Roast menu gives customers the Superbowl experience that they are after. Cajun spiced chicken, brisket, mac and cheese, sticky pork ribs, fries, the lot! With our catering, the big game has got its big feast! On Sunday night we were delighted to enjoy a number of our customer’s matchday plans. Between fresh drop-off deliveries and a couple of full catered services, our American customers were able to share in their nation’s biggest annual pastime the right way. Getting to bed late is just fine when you have a night of sheer fun and dining like this to enjoy!
