Spitting Pig Maidstone had the absolute pleasure of catering a vibrant and joy-filled 18th birthday celebration for Sarah’s daughter last weekend. Surrounded by friends, family, and music, it was the perfect setting for a delicious hog roast feast to mark such an exciting milestone.
At the heart of the menu was our signature Whole Roasted Pig, slowly cooked on site until beautifully tender with irresistible golden crackling. Guests gathered around as the carving began, and the aroma alone had everyone lining up for their first plate. The hog roast was served with classic favourites, Apple Sauce and Sage & Onion Stuffing, alongside a generous selection of bread rolls and wraps, with gluten-free options available to ensure no one missed out.
To make sure all guests were catered for, we provided our much-loved vegetarian and vegan alternatives. Those looking for something fresh and flavourful enjoyed our Grilled Vegetable & Halloumi Skewers, with a halloumi-free option available for vegan guests. Served with wraps, cooling tzatziki, and our punchy sweet chilli sauce, this 
dish always proves popular, even among meat-eaters.
Keeping the service relaxed and perfect for a lively 18th birthday atmosphere, all food was served onto disposable plates with napkins, making it easy for guests to mingle, dance, and enjoy the celebration without fuss.
