That is how we tend to operate here at Hog Roast Lewisham, viewing ourselves as much more of a close-knit family than just coworkers. Events can lead to long and stressful days; at Hog Roast Lewisham we have always been able to band together to get the job done because of that closeness and respect in the team.
So it is good to see similar elsewhere, as just last week head chef Chris and the Hog Roast Lewisham team were invited along to a very special birthday feast with one of our corporate customers here in town. For this client, rather than a typical workplace lunch or a special business service, this was an event in celebration of the big boss’s birthday, and they had invited all 60 of the staff team along for the Hog Roast Lewisham feast!
To stop down and have the boss treat you to a special celebration and feast for their own birthday is great – especially so when that feast is a Hog Roast Lewisham southern slow roast. In keeping with the heat of the summer season, our head chef opted for the smoky and spicy delights of our American inspired southern slow roast menu. A menu where the term “low and slow” is key to brilliant tastes, textures, and intense spicing in every bite, our southern slow roast brings forth the traditions of American southern barbecue. It’s a dining style all about smoky barbecue sauces, dry rubs, and hot sauces to get the most heat and flavour out of the slow cooked meats. Portion sizes come large and flavour comes intense!
For the boss’s birthday, it was Cajun spiced chickens, BBQ pork butt, Texas style beef brisket, vegan pulled BBQ jackfruit, and cooling sides of Greek salad, seasonal vegetables, and buttered corn cobettes. A massive feast which the boss and their 60 guests took in stride to complete a very special birthday celebration!
