This past weekend was a busy one for the Hog Roast Buxted team. As it was a bank holiday – the last of the summer – it seems like just about everyone in Maidstone wanted a catered event. We can’t blame you; where bank holiday weekends not massively lucrative for our industry, we’d have had our feet up doing the exact same with friends and family too. When it comes to the bank holiday you don’t want to be cooking; it’s a weekend reserved for takeaways and catered events.
One that we would like to tell you about from this wonderful summer bank holiday weekend comes to us from Buxted, a daughter’s 21st birthday celebration enjoyed at home with friends, family, and the hog roast catering of Hog Roast Buxted!
With 90 guests in total due to arrive for the massive 21st celebrations, we knew right away that we would need a menu that fit the guest list and the importance of the day. Our hog roast, as ever, was just that. One alone could feed one hundred guests, and that is before you get to all the trimmings that come with it like our sage and onion stuffing, crispy crackling, and apple sauce, and then there are the many side accompaniments and veggie alternatives that exist in our hog roast menus too! So, our classic hog roast menu was clearly just the thing for this 21st celebration.
With the sun shining over the bank holiday weekend it was even more clear that we had made the right choice. We were able to make use of the garden and cook our foods out there for a much better hog roast experience for all guests. Having your pulled pork roll come freshly pulled from an authentically made hog roast…well nothing quite beats that type of freshness and dining experience. On a day that is about memories like a 21st, this was one more excellent one to add to the collection for the birthday girl, the family, and everyone else involved.
