Now that the summer is over and we have had our bank holiday weekend, everyone is back into the office and perhaps feeling the slight struggle to get back into the swing of things. Not to worry, as Hog Roast Halling have your back!
Already in September we are back into the swing of things ourselves with our corporate catering services. Through the summer we were primarily focused on wedding catering along with some summery celebrations dotted throughout. We of course had some corporate catering evens during the summer season too, but with a lot of work teams largely scattered and broken up through the season with staff all taking holidays at different times, those events become a little more diluted. Now that it is autumn most teams are all fully back together which means the work lunches can begin again!
We’ve seen a good uptick in the corporate events even through these first two weeks in September. And don’t think that just because an event is for a workplace means it becomes any less fun or glamorous than a celebratory event or even a wedding at Hog Roast Halling; as our featured event of this week will attest to, even the work events can be just as big and special as the rest!
As proof, the Hog Roast Halling team had the pleasure of catering by the water at the beautiful St Andrews Lakes here in Halling. A site perfect for engaging in water sport activities, this was a brilliant site to be catering at last week as our team provided a very special southern slow roast dining experience to over 200 guests. It was called a work event and goes under the roof of our corporate catering service, but were you to see it on the day it would have looked like anything but! Delicious Texas style beef brisket, Cajun spiced chickens, BBQ pork butt, grilled sausages, buttered corn cobettes, creamy mac, cooling Greek salad, gourmet coleslaw, all enjoyed out by the water and in immense style with help from the Hog Roast Halling serving team.
