Hog Roast Linton’s latest event was a lovely wedding reception party. The clients wanted their partygoers (an unfixed number of up to 40 people) to have a lovely buffet to enjoy at the tepee venue in Orpington. The wedding catering for the event was a Classic selection of Hog Roast Linton’s most tasty dishes.
Catering Manager Chris arrived at the beautiful venue at midday on the day of the event. He set up the catering gazebo and equipment before getting straight to work on creating the menu dishes. Everything was created fresh that day, so that the food was lovely and fresh when the guests tucked into the tasty treats at 6pm.
In order for the event to follow the Covid-19 safety and social distancing measures the Hog Roast Linton team provided Catering Manager Chris with PPE. Chris wore a mask and gloves and maintained distance from the guests.
The catering package that the clients selected included the use of high quality disposable crockery and cutlery for the guests to use. At 6pm the guests were joined by the newlywed happy couple at the buffet table. Everybody heled themselves to the tasty treats on offer.
There was a Classic Hog Roast; this was a slow spit roasted pig served with crispy crackling, homemade stuffing and optional apple sauce. As well as this sensational hog roast, there was platters of plain grilled vegetable skewers and grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers. Finishing off this delicious buffet was a mountain of gluten free rolls, which all the guests could tuck into without worrying about gluten allergies.
Once the buffet had been gobbled up by the hungry guests, who kept coming back for more, Catering Manager Chris discreetly and quietly tidied away. Not only did he take away all the catering equipment he had brought with him, but Chris also took with him all the rubbish generated through the catering of the event. This meant that the clients could continue to enjoy their special day without having to worry about tidying up any rubbish from the catering.
It was a magical day with beautiful weather. The clients partied the night away and were very happy with the service they received from Hog Roast Linton.
