Towards the end of 2023, Hog Roast Kingsnorth was contacted by a family to cater for their son’s christening party, which is taking place this January. Their son was born in the middle of 2023 and they have been working hard to plan a christening that would be memorable for the whole family. After the ceremony, the guests will be invited to a reception at a local function room with great food, music, and plenty of entertainment for the younger guests. For the menu, we have been hired to provide a classic hog roast with a few additional dishes to ensure that there is something for everyone to enjoy.
In preparation for the reception, the Hog Roast Kingsnorth team will arrive at the function room in the morning and begin to prepare the catering for the 3:00pm serving time. We will begin with the main dishes, which will include a delicious slow-roasted hog, pork sausages, and tasty veggie sausages. The hog will be expertly carved and served in fresh bread rolls, while the sausages will be enjoyed as hot dogs. The mains will be accompanied by sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, crispy crackling, homemade chips, gourmet coleslaw, and a selection of seasonal salad dishes.
