A local community centre in Maidstone recently organised their first talent show, with contestants gathering from around the surrounding towns to take place in the competition. The show was a great way for local people to demonstrate their talents and provide a great evening of entertainment for those watching. For the audience, Hog Roast Tovil was hired to provide a delicious menu for the interval, in the form of a classic hog roast. This was the ideal menu for the event as it can quickly be served to large groups and is a delicious catering choice. Our manager Chris was more than happy to get involved and cater for this event.
On the day of the show, the Hog Roast Tovil team arrived at the community centre to set up our catering station. Once ready, we got to work roasting the hog, ensuring that it was cooked evenly and deliciously. For meat-free guests, we also served BBQ pulled jackfruit. The mains were served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, crispy crackling, and homemade applesauce. During the interval, the guests queued up at our station to receive their meal before returning to their seats. Our menu went down a treat and was a great addition to the event, satisfying the guests for the second half of the show.
