Alan’s oldest daughter Lauren has been travelling around South America for the last year and a half and she is set to return home this April. As expected, all of her family and friends have missed seeing her and they are planning a big homecoming party to celebrate her being back in the country. The party is set to take place at Alan’s family home in Maidstone, with catering provided by Hog Roast Hadlow. Our catering manager Chris has been hired to provide a classic hog roast for the occasion, with a few additional extra main dishes. This is a classic British meal and is sure to remind Lauren of the comfort food that she has been missing while on her travels!
In preparation for this event, the Hog Roast Hadlow team is planning on arriving at the venue in the morning to give us plenty of time to prepare for the 2:00pm mealtime. We will begin by slow-roasting the hog and ensuring that it is cooked to perfection before it is expertly carved by our chef. Additionally, we will also be serving succulent pork sausages and veggie sausages, all served in fresh bread rolls. The mains will be accompanied by sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, crispy crackling, and homemade chips, creating a hearty and delicious buffet lunch! This menu is going to be a great addition to the party and we are looking forward to joining in with something so memorable!
